Topeka – Community Conversation on Medicaid
DETAILS:
April 21, 2025
6:30pm–7:30pm
Monday, April 21, 2025 | 6:30-7:30pm

Join us in Topeka at the Topeka Shawnee County Public Library on Monday, April 21 from 6:30-7:30pm for a community conversation about Medicaid.
Congressional leaders in Washington, D.C., are proposing massive cuts to Medicaid, and it’s time for Kansans to use our voices and tell our representatives about how cuts and changes to Medicaid will affect our everyday lives.
Kansas’s federal Senators and Representatives will be invited to attend this community forum. Kansans are encouraged to sign up to speak about how federal cuts to Medicaid would impact their lives or the members in their community. Comments may be subject to a time limit depending on the number of people who want to speak.
We strongly recommend signing up to speak in advance, as it will be done on a first come first served basis.
The forum will be live-streamed to Facebook, and a copy of the recording will also be sent to any policymaker who is unable to attend in person.
Please join us to share your story and raise your voice about how critical Medicaid is to the health and wellbeing of Kansas!
