Garden City Telegram: It’s time we finally expand Medicaid

Last year, Gov. Kelly and I traveled across the state, listening closely and carefully to Kansans. We pledged that our administration would focus on their priorities.

That’s why, nearly three months ago Gov. Kelly and I released our plan to expand Medicaid. It will provide quality, affordable healthcare to approximately 150,000 Kansans and critical support to our hospitals.

Just by expanding Medicaid, we can help keep important health facilities open and provide access to affordable health care for all Kansans — no matter where they live.
